cup of life

Quick posty thingy

I have banished many works of Great Literature to the realm of Undermybed. They are accessible if I desperately desire them, but my feeling is they will stay there until a bout of 'oh I should probably read one of Those Books'. The ones that have a hope in hell of being read in the next year or so are allowed to stay on the shelf, but mostly I feel it is better that my bookshelves reflect the fact that I will almost certainly read the new Gallagher Girls book before getting around to Flaubert.

Also living in the land of Undermybed is my tights collection. Q: is it acceptable to wear Christmassy tights in July?

Comments

What?! YES OF COURSE. What sort of silly question is that? Just like people should sing Christmas carols in August.

Describe these tights please, so I may go :D :D :D? (Unpacking: quite obviously happening at a rate of knots.)
:D I have more than one pair of Christmas tights, but the prettiest pair are not only green-and-red tartan but also glittery.
Eee, PRETTY! And tartan can be worn ALL YEAR ROUND. Just look at the Scots. ;D

What are the others like? :D
You are wise! There is another tartan pair without glitter, and then a blue/grey snowflake pair. Slightly less festive perhaps.
Hee! :D And oh, they are all LOVELY. I want some. Where did they come from? :D
I do not remember but my usual first port of call is http://www.mytights.com for their prettiness. They do many exciting patterned things around Christmastime.
